Here’s what it means for you: If your machinery or equipment is damaged, we’ll send over a trained Ryno Hire field service technician, equipped with the tools and expertise to carry out any service and repair that is required, while out in the field.

Whilst your machinery is being repaired by our field technicians, you can hire Ryno Hire our machinery as a temporary replacement during this period. So whilst your equipment is being fixed by us, your crew can continue to work without interruption – saving you valuable time and money.

What can Ryno Hire field service technicians do for you?

We have a brilliant team with extensive experience from 500kg to 40-tonne machinery and on all brands of earthmoving equipment, including Kubota, Kobelco, Yanmar, Hitachi, Cat, Dingo, Kanga, ASV and many more.

Our skilled technicians can solve the problem efficiently and economically. They’ve seen and repaired almost any kind of mechanical failure imaginable. No job is too big or small. They’re also on call for our own hired fleet, so if your hire machinery requires repairing on-site, we can send our team to assist – even on weekends.

How Does the Hiring Process Work?

Should you require replacement equipment whilst your machinery is being repaired, we’ll provide you with a hire agreement in advance for the amounts due under the agreement made.
Unless you have a credit account with Ryno, payment at time of hire is required. Keep in mind that you will have to cover all running expenses associated with the machinery, such as the cost of fuel to run the equipment. For tipper truck hire, you will get a travel allowance of up to 150km per day hire. Any more than this and you may incur an additional per kilometre fee.

Your Responsibilities When Using Ryno Equipment

Should you choose to hire equipment or machinery, conduct a thorough risk assessment and make sure that everyone on your team knows and complies with laws and regulations relating to the operation of the equipment.

You are required to conduct a daily inspection before operating the machinery, by verifying that tyres are roadworthy, wheel nuts are secured and any tailgate is securely latched for transportation. You’re also expected to carry out any routine maintenance on a day to day basis during the hire period, which includes cleaning and lubricating the equipment.

You also need to ensure the following:

• Make sure that the machinery is never overloaded and you are following the manufacturer’s instructions.
• You must, at all times, protect the equipment from theft, loss or damage.
• Ensure that the machinery is returned to Ryno Hire in a clean and fully fueled state.
• The equipment must remain in Queensland at all times, unless previously agreed otherwise.

What if Hire Equipment Breaks Down?

Even the best of machinery can break down and become unsafe to use. If this is the case, and the equipment you’ve hired from Ryno Hire requires servicing you must stop using it immediately and give us a call. Refrain from using the machinery until it has been repaired by one of our field service technicians.

If there has been an accident, and the equipment breaks down as a result of negligence on the side of your team, you will need to pay for any costs incurred to repair the equipment.

How to Return Hire Equipment

If you hired machinery from Ryno Hire whilst your equipment was being repaired, we ask you to return it in the same working condition you received it, at the agreed-upon time and date or before the hire period set out in the hire schedule expires. Should you, for any reason fail to do so, Ryno has the right to enter any premises where the equipment is stored to retake possession. Alternatively, if you require the equipment for an extended period, simply give us a call to arrange an extension on your hire.

Please, remember to return all rented machinery and equipment with a full tank of fuel. Otherwise, an additional fuel charge will incur to the required amount to fill the tank.
