Once again, Ryno Hire is going to be a part of the annual Samford Show! What happens at the Samford Show you ask? Organised by a group of enthusiastic volunteers, and with the support of the wonderful Brisbane community, businesses and Moreton Bay Regional Council, this year’s 51st Samford Show is a memorable weekend of rides, show bags, food, entertainment and meeting new people! As a Silver Sponsor ourselves, we do our best to ensure everyone has a great time.
Here is a little insight into what the Samford Show is all about:
The Samford Show Society is a ‘not for profit’ organisation that was developed in 1968. The Show is set on 40 acres of land and is run by a committee of volunteers ensuring the Samford Showgrounds can be used safely and respectfully. The Showgrounds often hosts entertainment for the community, surrounding districts, associations, clubs and more! The Grand Parade that takes place on the second day of the event (Sunday), is definitely a sight to be a part of, you’ll even get to see the Ryno rig doing the rounds. It is a carnival for everyone! Whether you’re looking to enjoy the Pig Races or the ‘Famous Samford Dog Jump’, fireworks, horse racing or archery, this is an event that sparks everyone’s interest, especially when you consider the extremely cheap entry prices.
And of course, as it is a 2-day event, we have all the preparations in place for an amazing stay. Samford’s beautiful surrounding and powered sites provide for camping facilities and sites for caravans are set up for our visitors for the entire shindig. Amazing facilities such as a pavilion and kitchen/bar area are available for hire too. Basically, the Samford Show will consist of everything you could possibly need for a perfect weekend getaway.
